Updates keep coming for Call of Duty fans, and the series not only reduces game download sizes but also introduces a new interface. These changes are particularly relevant to Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players. Additionally, the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will also benefit from these innovations. Here are the details…
Call of Duty File Download Sizes Reduced! Interface Updated
With the arrival of Call of Duty’s fifth season, a major update will bring fundamental changes to the game’s file structure, making Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 separately downloadable. But the most exciting aspect is the new texture streaming technology. This technology significantly reduces the game’s download file sizes.
The new system will allow the game to occupy less storage space by streaming textures over the internet. Users will be able to choose between two different modes: Optimized and Minimum. The Optimized mode offers higher visual quality while using more internet bandwidth.
The Minimum mode, on the other hand, reduces internet usage while delivering lower graphic quality. These options are a big advantage, especially for players with limited internet connections. For the full version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, a download size of 310 GB is specified.
However, there’s no need to worry. The developers state that this size doesn’t correspond to the actual space the game will take up during download or on storage. So, the game won’t actually occupy that much space. What do you think about these innovations?
Do you think these updates and download size reduction steps for the game will be effective? Don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comments below.”
